Since I was young, I always thought of myself as an artist. I am both a creative individual and a visual learner. From an early age, I found my confidence in art. I was an early fan of Anime and anything animated (Disney, Pixar, etc) and that’s where my first influences came from. There have been definite themes to my work over the years - fantasy, dragons, creatures, animals, and abstraction, just to name a few.  

 

My work has expanded to include a more pragmatic style for the “real world”. But truth be told, my passions still lie in making creatures of all kind come to life on my sketch pad, iPad, and on my computer. You will most definitely find me checking out artists on YouTube and on a Facebook page called Daily Spitpaint. I love computer and phone games and I am constantly trying out new techniques. I enjoy using lots of detail in my work, from using pen and ink to enhance textures, to digitizing my art and even add a little whimsy to the subject. I am learning to appreciate what it means to be an artist and look forward to learning, growing and taking my place in the industry in whatever way I can.
